Gordy Bell - Drumming
Gordon Bell began drumming at the age of eight under the guidance of Norman MacLeod in the Kenmure Pipeband. He also received tuition from the legendary Alec Duthart. Gordon took over the corp in 1975; the band eventually changed the name to the Parlin & District. The band and corp dominated the pipeband scene throughout the 80s in the EUSPBA, winning the North American Championship in Grade 2, and placing them in Grade 1. He has also been a member of Muirhead & Sons, Kenmure, Worcester Kiltie, 78th Fraser Highlanders, and the City of Washington Pipe Bands. Gordon also saw a great deal of success in the solo field winning the EUSPBA Overall Champion each year from 1979-87. He has recorded with The Empire Brass Quintet, 78th Frasers Live in Scotland, and with his own Celtic Rock group "51 Ash" in which he also plays the bass guitar.

Currently Pipe Major of the MWPBA 2008 Grade 2 Champion Midlothian Scottish Pipe Band.

Wes Sheppard - Piping

Wes is the Pipe Major of the St.Andrews Society of Winnipeg Pipe Band.  Last year was one of the bands most successful seasons ever!  In 2008, the band made their debut in Grade 1.    The band was 3rd at the North American Pipe Band Championships and won the piping portion of the contest.  The next day the band won the grade 2 contest in Montreal and again the piping to establish itself as one of North America’s top pipe bands.
Wes is a former member of the Grade 1 78th Fraser Highlanders of Toronto as well as the Stirling Centennial Pipe Band and the Dauphin Legion Pipe Bands.  He also started the Kenora Scottish organization and took them to the World Championships in 2000.
As well as teaching bands, Wes also teaches solo players and does regular workshops with several bands in Canada and the US.  During the day, Wes is the Road Test Supervisor for Motor Coach Industries in Winnipeg.

Bentley Wall - Piping
In the most recent years, Bentley has been with the North Coast Pipe Band since 1992, as Pipe Sergeant from 1996-2002.  Bentley was Pipe Major for the 2003 and 2004 seasons and during that time the band won at Bethlehem and all of the PPBSO contests it attended for two years except for a 2nd placing at Maxville in 2003.  Winning Maxville in 2004 and leading the band twice on the field in Glasgow were highlight experiences.  In 2005, he joined Toronto Police in Grade I and enjoyed the experience of winning Maxville in Grade I for the first time, winning the Grade I PPBSO Champion Supreme title and playing overseas in the Grade I qualifier round.  Remaining with the Toronto Police for 2007, he decided to make a change and joined the 78th Frasers for the 2008 season.  The 2008 season was full of more great experiences being in an undefeated Grade I band, being in the Grade I North American Champion band at Maxville, winning the PPBSO Champion Supreme title again and playing in the two Grade I Finals events in Glasgow.  Remaining in the Frasers again for 2009, he hopes that the band will place in the coveted top six spots at the Worlds this time around.  Bentley continues to run the North Coast Pipe Band at a Grade IV level as an instructor.
