Our next tasting will be Saturday February 25th.  We have a new location, the Minnesota Transportation Museum, located at 193 Pennsylvania Ave. East in St. Paul.  The event will start at 6:00 and we encourage all of you to get there early to tour the facility.  This is the old round house located on Pennsylvania just east of Jackson Street.  This is a tremendous facility, right under our noses, and we feel that you will enjoy the site.  We have made a long term commitment to the museum and all of our tastings will be there this year.

Once again our Whisky Wench, Fiona MacNeill will be leading us on a tour.  This event will deal with Whisky in Popular Culture and Fiona has selected four Scotches that have appeared prominently in print and movies over the years.  This is a different kind of tour, it should prove very entertaining and informative, and Tasty!

We are also happy to announce that we are expanding the tasting to include a professional cigar roller.  Maria Caram Ibarra will be joining us to show us how hand-rolled cigars are created.  She will be demonstrating both before the tasting starts and during our break during the event.  All of the cigars rolled that night will be for sale at $10.00 per cigar.

Cost will be $30.00 for the event.  Once again, all proceeds benefit the Scottish American Center and the Minnesota Scottish Fair and Highland Games so please mark your calendars and contact on of our sellers for tickets.  Jack MacMillan, John Peterson, John McKeen, Lyaman MacPherson, and Don Cogswell all have tickets.

As always, you can contact me as well for reservations at johnson_neil@comcast.net or at 651 260-0306.
